Research methodology plays an important role in postgraduate legal education. Therefore, students need to understand how to select appropriate methods, develop research questions, and organize their findings systematically.

By strengthening these skills early, students can prepare for the research process with greater confidence. They can also work toward producing a well-structured thesis that meets academic standards.

Academic Services and the SIAP Information System

The program also included a session on academic administration and the Academic, Research, and Community Service Information System (SIAP). Suwadi delivered this presentation and introduced students to the relevant academic services and information system.

This session helped students become familiar with the administrative support available during their studies. As a result, students gained a clearer understanding of the systems that support their academic activities.

The UNDIP By Research Law Matriculation 2026 program aimed to provide students with a common foundation for postgraduate learning. Its sessions covered research methodology, academic regulations, curriculum requirements, and academic information systems.

Beyond academic preparation, the event encouraged students to build relationships and understand one another’s characters. This interaction can help foster communication, mutual support, and collaboration throughout the research process.

The program also emphasized the importance of choosing appropriate research methods and preparing a strong thesis. With a clear understanding of academic expectations, students can plan their research activities and manage their study schedules more effectively.

Ultimately, the matriculation program served as an important first step for the 19 By Research students. It equipped them with essential information and guidance to begin their postgraduate journey.
